Let’s start here, because the scooter is better than anything else in the comparable price range, no arguments, so either stop reading now and buy it, or read on and get why this IS hands down the best you’ll find.
The scooter was delivered exactly as advertised, couldn’t be happier on my end. An issue occurred, on my end, and the team (Adam - absolute legend) has completely sorted it out. These people are legit, care, and deserve every rave review and to be sold out.
Delivers on all aspects. Mobile, fast, long range battery (48V 13Ah), not too heavy, easy ride, great looking, lights for night, waterproof and did I mention how fast it is?
I literally could not be happier with it, as I shopped around for every brand and had a couple of referrals, but the referral for this one raised my interest most, because it came from a friend I highly respect when it comes to making good decisions and he did not steer me wrong!
If you’ve read this far you know what to do, stop looking elsewhere and buy, you will get everything you’re thinking you want and more. I couldn’t be more grateful to this company for their product and for their unparalleled service for me.
I have now had the Horizon for approximately 2 weeks and have had no issues. My longest ride has been 6 miles and the battery indicator still showed full bars. The ride is very smooth on asphalt, but can be a little rough on concrete with cracks, etc., due to the solid rear wheel. I would have preferred a pneumatic rear wheel, but it is not a big issue and I would encourage others to purchase this model. the shock absorbers work well and are worth the extra cost. Most of my riding has been in level 2, and allows for speeds up to 12 to 14 mph. For me, this is a very comfortable speed, but in level 3 at 20 mph, the scooter is very stable and smooth. Riding with my 6 year old daughter with her e-scooter is a joy. We keep our speeds down to 9 mph on local park trails, and no one has complained about the e-scooters. We are always courteous to walkers and joggers, and never pass them without catching their attention. Sometimes this is hard if they have earbuds, so we pull past slowly. No harm, no foul. Great machine for pleasure and I now use it to go to the grocery store for items I can fit in a backpack. Never have to worry about parking! I’ll be purchasing another e-scooter for my wife and my family will begin our urban exploring. Thank you Fluidfreeride for a wonderful product and great customer service.
Got these to use while riding ATV and Scooter. I have been using them for a couple weeks and they are doing great! They fit well, are very comfortable, and seem to be very well constructed. Expect they will last a long time. I would buy them again!
This is my second scooter from fluid free ride and both are great. The wolf warrior x is an absolute blast to ride. It rides super smooth and top speed around 45mph. The hydraulic brakes are fantastic. I can't say enough positive things about this scooter!
This is an outstanding scooter. I have put 350 miles on it in the last month and have had zero issues. The range is great (I've been 30 miles on 1 charge while riding in 2nd gear). The speeds are great (1st gear 12mph, 2nd gear 17mph, 3rd gear 23 mph).
No issues with the build quality.
Rides very smooth. I highly recommend the Horizon.
The Fluidfreeride Horizon has exceeded my expectations. It’s a lot of fun to ride and fast. I use it to commute to work and can get back and forth to work more than 3 times before needing to recharge. I especially like the dolly wheels making it easy to get my scooter around when it’s folded up. I’m really loving my Horizon. Thanks Fluid Freeride!
I got Mantis 8 pro. I live in Jersey city working in manhattan. I dont use my car any more. Im the fastest on the road. Also i rode to Brighton beach And back from jersey city it took me less than 2 hours of riding joy. It fits in the trunk perfectly if you wanna go to state park and ride there. I also went to The peak of The Bear mountain NY and it was very steep it felt like i flew;) Thank you! Fluid Free Ride team!
After burning through one full charge on my new Wolf Warrior 11, I can definitely say that it did not disappoint. I reviewed dozens of videos and researched about 10 different models before I committed. Yes, this scooter is more expensive than most, but looking at safety, speed, mileage, and superior engineering as purchasing factors, this scooter was a no brainer for all around sustained longevity and peace of mind. It's only real competition is about 2-3k more in price. Again, another no brainer. Im a 6'1 295lb male with size 13 shoes and this scooter was the perfect fit all the way around and with the integrated shocks design it's a smooth ride. I also purchased 2 fast chargers to cut the charging time down to about 3 hrs if needed safely (proven in you tube video by Ginger on Wheels in detail) without overloading/overheating the battery cells. The fingerprint access was a nice security feature (mostly peace of mind that my kid won't be able to ride it without permission haha). Also, the run flat armordilloz gave me peace of mind if I run over a nail or anything that could puncture my tires that I won't be left stranded anywhere. Overall it's been a thrill so far and I've had lots of interested strangers and onlookers admiring the scooter. I can attest that the customer service from Fluidfreerides has been more than just a satisfactory experience so far. A big thanks to them for making this product more available in the USA and for offering all of the servicing needs that anyone would want or expect for supporting requirements that can come with a life changing experience like this.
So it started by wanting a different commute to work every day. I did my research and fell on the mantis. I was a little reluctant to spend $1500 plus tax on just an alternate commuter. After just three days for shipping I was unboxing the mantis. The assembly was extremely easy and I was on my way. It has been a couple weeks now and it has been my sole mode of commute this last week. I love everything about my mantis. To the point of my family and coworkers are willing to make this their mode of transportation. I am am 230 lbs and it does 38 mph without a struggle. I have taken it 28 miles between charges. I also bought the fast charger after initial purchase cause I found It could fit under my desk and use work electricity to charge. Win win. Overall love the mantis and would recommend to anyone in the market.
Proud owner of my new Apollo Explore, and boy the wait was worth it.
Here's my story.
I received my scooter and rode it right away and loved it. Long story short, something was wrong with the scooter so I contacted Fluid/Apollo. They were so quick to help with my issue, they didn't try to put the blame on me for the problem; no questions asked other than to share a video of the issue. At this point im going through my thoughts thinking, ok maybe they'll send me a new replacement piece, maybe they'll have me take it to a shop at their expense. The thoughts kept coming while I was waiting for the reply in email. Fluid, the authorized dealer for Apollo, told me to send the scooter back at their expense, and to take a photo of the confirmed shipping/tracking number. They sent out my replacement scooter that very moment! I didn't have to wait for them to receive my old scooter, and I was able to get a brand new scooter that wasn't just fixed and returned back to me! The whole process took about 24-48 hours in total. Really an upstanding company. Apollo and Fluid can count on my business as well as referrals by me in the future.
Today, I am still enjoying my scooter as much as I did when I first received it. If your on the fence about getting a scooter, I highly recommend going with a Fluid or Apollo brand scooter simply just for the customer service alone. A company that stands behind their product 100% means the quality of the product is exceptional. Thank you Fluid! Thank you Apollo!
As far as the scooter itself, it smooth sailing when riding. The suspension is top notch (front and rear), and the 10" tires eat up any type of obstacle a usual 10" tire can take.
The deck of the scooter makes you feel stable and safe. It is covered with a skateboard type grip paper kind of like sand paper with the Apollo logo throughout.
The Tires are pneumatic with an inner tube on the inside. This means they are filled with air just like bicycle tires. For me personally i pre-treated my tires with the "Slime" to prevent future punctures when out on an adventure. I still will always keep a small handheld air pump with me.
The disc brakes are just wonderful. Although they are mechanical, most people haven't used anything but mechanical brakes, like myself, on any type of bicycle or scooter. Again, top notch and high quality.
The handlebars fold downwards if you plan on bringing it along on a trip, as well as the stem that connects the handle bars and the bottom of the scooter folds down. This isn't a smaller scooter, but you wouldn't want a small scooter if you had the capability of going upwards of 30 miles per hour.
The Battery Life I can't really comment on just yet because I haven't had to charge it yet. I would consider that a good thing!
Overall out of 100 points, I would give this scooter a 98/100. You may ask why I took 2 points off? Well nothing in life is perfect. If I had to change one thing about the scooter, I would probably offer at least one more color option, but thats really preference.
I recently received the horizon and have put around 63 miles on it so far. It exceeded my expectations by a longshot and I it has been a joy to ride around my area when getting food or just around the local park. However I am far more impressed with the professionalism of fluid freeride and how quickly they worked to get my order out. Being someone who is quite impatient when it comes to impulsive buys, I was astonished that my scooter arrived here in California in only 2 days. Not to mention it was the first UPS package I've received with no gaping hole in it. All in all the scooter is a great buy so far. If you like the scooter but are questioning whether to get it, just shoot the gun and do it. You wont regret it for this class of scooter.
I preordered two Apollo Explore scooters, Fluid free ride delivery the products very close to the expected date( two weeks late) which is pretty good with what’s happened to imports lately due to covid 19. Anyways, the scooters are great, Fluidfreeride had responded to my emails promptly regarding ETA and additional tool kits etc. I do recommend this company Five Stars!
As a New Yorker summering in South Florida, I recently contacted fluidfreeride MIAMI because I wanted a fun, affordable and eco-friendly way to get around. I purchased two scooters--a CITYRIDER and a Horizon, which respectively go up to 17-22 mph--that have surpassed all expectations.
Staying in the bicycle-friendly community of Weston, I use my scooter constantly--whether taking my daughter to class, running to the grocery store or heading out for a bite to eat. All I need are my wheels and a helmet (and some tasty shades, of course), and I'm off to the races. Bike paths and sidewalks are my M.O. No more sitting in traffic, shelling out for gas or paying obscene car rental fees. And if I want to daytrip (e.g., visit Key Largo, Hollywood or South Beach), the scooter fits inside the trunk of most Uber vehicles.
The team at fluidfreeride MIAMI is top shelf. Edgar, in particular, provided excellent customer service, taking time to understand my wants and needs as a first-time buyer and then responding to my questions. When I later had to swap out a tire, he made sure that the repair process was quick and seamless. If only my auto mechanic was this good.
Rumor has it that fluidfreeride has opened a storefront in NYC. They'll have to bring their A-game if they want to compete with Team Florida. :)
The Inokim OXO is easily the most solid, stable, and comfortable scooter I've ever had the pleasure of riding. It's got a massive deck that let's you really stretch your feet out, the battery seems to just go forever, and it has loads of power. It's not the kind on uncontrollable neck-snapping power that other scooters deliver, it has a very controllable and predictable throttle curve that gives you total confidence and control. The real stand-out feature to me is the suspension. I don't know what magic Inokim has worked to achieve this, but it's firm enough to keep the scooter planted in turns and stable at high speeds, but it's plush enough to make the ride VERY comfortable and soak up any bumps or cracks in the road you encounter. This scooter is truly a one-of-a-kind that stands out from the rest with high-end features and a build quality that can't be beat. It's virtually SILENT going down the road, even when the quality of the road is poor. No creaks, squeaks, groans, or any other noises can be heard from the scooter, it's unbelievable.
I'd also like to shine a light on FluidFreeRide for having exceptional customer service. I originally ordered an Inokim Quick 4 Super and had a couple of issues with that scooter (I think that's also a great scooter, but I may have gotten a dud), they didn't hesitate to respond to any of my concerns in a timely manner and offered right away to replace the scooter. I decided that I'd rather upgrade to the OXO which I had already ridden and knew I liked, they were happy to take back the Quick 4 and ship out an OXO. I paid the difference and sent them proof if shipping, they shipped out the new scooter the next business day, long before they even received the other one back. Seriously, this is a business that treats their customers right, I'll definitely be purchasing from them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.
All-in-all, I'm extremely satisfied with the OXO and FluidFreeRide. I've already upgraded the grips and handlebars to a wider set and added a storage bag, I'm looking forward to putting in many miles (and smiles) on my scooter.
I'm 58 years old and its my first time on a scooter! I've had my horizon just over a week, speedometer reads 263kg and I have had no issues. She's well made and carries 185lbs with no problems. I seem to like Level 1. It is a perfect speed for viewing. Yeah I love it! Thanks
