I love the adjustability of this charger and how it balances the cells at the end of charging! Would definitely recommend this charger to others
Let’s start off with the Nami Burn-E 2….. it’s absolutely amazing! I love everything about this MACHINE!!! FAST, FAST, FAST ……SMOOTH, SMOOTH, SMOOTH!
Let’s get to Fluid Freeride….. OH MY LORD JESUS….. Their customer service is ABSOLUTELY A. M. A. Z. I. N. G. I initially went with another company (Varla) and then immediately canceled my order due to poor customer service reviews and MUCH more. I then found Fluid Freeride and immediately fell in love. You actually get an agent when you call. I had an issue with my order (not Fluid Freerides fault) and they fixed it in less than 24 hours. This was mainly resolved through e-mails. I was a little worried about that at first but found out that’s the best way to communicate with them for returns and any questions. I will be a LIFE-LONG CUSTOMER with Fluid Freeride…. Not because of the amazing Nami Burn-E 2 …. BUT BECAUSE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Thank you for everything you’ve done to help me and Thank you for an amazing product!
Wow is all I can say. Bought two of these pre-order and they both arrived with off-road tires even though the description said street tires. I'm glad about the mistake because we've been riding these offroad more than we ever thought we would. We came from much smaller scooters (Inokim Quick 3 250w) and I about pooped myself when "launching" the WWX in dual motor mode. I'm 225lbs and it literally peels out lmao these things are PSYCHO they're so much fun. I live in south florida and we ride up and down A1A all day long no problems keeping up with cars (and even passing). I can't imagine a more stable, fun experience. The dual handlebars/forks really make a big difference when you're going 45mph it's so stable it's almost disarming how smoothly and easily it goes so fast. Once you get used to it (only takes about 10 miles) going 25mph is like going 4mph its no big deal at all. I'm definitely glad I bought scooters with more power and capability, I was about to just stick to scooters in the 22-32mph range thinking i'll never need to go faster than that - WRONG, these make it great and its actually safer to navigate some streets without shoulders where you need to get out of the way asap and off to the side before cars come. I'm glad these have the power to act more like motorcycles than bicycles to where we don't stand out and don't impede traffic if we don't want/have to.
There seemed to be a couple upgrades from what is typically reviewed on youtube: the side lights aren't as flimsy/delicate as some reviews state. They must have redone them and added a stronger plastic protective sleeve around them so the lights aren't so exposed. I can't imagine any way to break the side lights accidentally so no worries there. The clearance on these is excellent - there will be no issues going up curbs and worrying about scraping the lights or the bottom - these are very tall scooters. Also the suspension/rubbing issue is no longer there, Kaabo stiffened the rear suspension so there is no rubbing if you run off of a curb onto the street or something like that. At 225lbs, there's nothing I can do to get the tires to rub anywhere so that's a plus that Kaabo is listening. Also as others have stated, there are indicator lights for turn signals and also for what mode you are in - other reviews online state there is no way to tell which mode you are in. Not so anymore. The final thing is the instructions are pretty useless - the #1 thing is to unbox it and make sure you pass the handlebars THROUGH the forks so the cables arne't stretched so far. It will work without doing so, but the proper way is to not just mount the handlebars after unboxing them, make sure you pass them through the forks THEN mount them...you get much more clearance for wires and it will prevent any problems with tension down the line.
Just buy them, you won't be disappointed. I bought two pre-order at $1,799 and honestly feel like I stole them. These are worth much more than that especially compared to other scooters. Varla Eagle and Mantis Pro were candidates but at the price, had to get the Wolfs and so glad we did. Fkng. Awesome.
I bought Pete Mitchell in September or October of last year, after coming to rely on electric scooters for my transportation and losing my Emove Cruiser (RIP Eva...) Admittedly, my first week or so was a little bit frightening, as Pete has quite a bit more power than Eva did, and 40mph while standing and exposed to the world is... a little terrifying. But, once I got used to it, I would have it no other way! I get all over town with this scooter and have a great time doing it (unless someone doesn't see me and pulls right in front of me- Careful! Folks in cars will NOT see you!) The battery range is about what they say it is; I've been pushing him on some longer rides to see just what I can get out of him, and I think... 40 miles is almost exactly what I've gotten! (I am small and terrain is mostly flat, fyi.) Meanwhile, the only maintenance he's needed so far is some air in the tires (a welcome change, as poor Eva always seemed on the verge of nearly falling apart with all her loose and missing screws). All in all, VERY happy with the Kaabo Mantis!
Thank you. Charger is working flawlessly and charged my battery in less than half the time.
Had a minor hiccup to begin with. Box came a little beat up and one grip strip had come off and attached itself to the packaging. These guys sorted me out as quickly as possible, and more than made up for my disappointment.
As for the scooter, it’s been a dream to ride/scoot to the train, fold up and then scoot across town to work. Suspension is great for my knees and super fun to ride. Overall great build. I don’t scoot on rain days, so that would be nice to look forward to- a waterproof version.
I am pleased that I chose Fluid freeride to purchase my Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro.
When I ordered the Scooter is was promptly shipped and I received a lot faster than I suspected. There was one minor issue I had with the scooter (faulty locking Pin)and there service department sent me a new part right away. Their reputation of customer service held up. I really like how green the company is and really enjoy that fact that they plant 100 trees for every scooter sold. Another reason I chose Fluid Freeride is that have a location for service not to far from me. That was a big selling point for me. As far as the scooter goes... oh man i absolutely love it . It was everything I hoped it to be as I upgraded from a Wolf King. One thing that was a difficult for me to get use to was the height of the Handlebars. ( I'm Short). I ended up lowering the Bars about 2" and it fits me great. All I had to do was loosen two bolts and slide the Neck and bars down the dual stems and retighten. I plan on being a repeat customer in the future. Thanks Fluid Freeride.
I've currently had the Phantom V2 for about 3 months now and ridden it for about 200 miles. Coming from an Apollo Ghost, the Phantom feels like the more refined version in terms of build quality, suspension, & performance.
I ride through the streets of New York City to get to & from work (it's about 12 miles round trip) while also enjoying the occasional joy ride around the neighborhood. The quad suspension easily handles the cracks/small potholes of the city. The acceleration is fast enough to keep up with flow of traffic and climb steep hills with ease (already hit 41 mph). The build quality is superb (and eye catching) with the stem having little to no wobble, a gorgeous display right in the center, excellent brakes (bought my Phantom with Zoom brakes) & lighting, and has a very responsive thumb throttle. My only criticism is the rubber deck arrived partially sealed around the corners, but it is an easy fix.
All I can say is great job Apollo! Thank you as well to Fluid Free Ride for the easy ordering process and constant communication throughout. I can't wait for the future V3 upgrade(s).
The Wolf King GT Pro is an absolute beast!! It's chill enough for a noob ride smooth and effortless in low power settings, but has enough power and torque in the high power settings that my lats are actually sore from the workout I got in my first couple of days of riding!! (Mostly because I kept going back for more lol!) Indescribably fun!! Also, I'd heard that some of these online scooter dealers weren't very concerned with customer service after the sale... and for some of them, that may be true. But when my Wolf King GT Pro came with some shipping damage, FluidFreeRide was absolutely ON IT. They just wanted to make it right, above and beyond what was asked, and that speaks miles about their character and dedication to their customers. Well done guys. Will happily recommend you guys!
I’ve been a customer of Fluid Free Rides for a while now I started off with the mercane wide wheel pro and now have a mantis 10 before that. I can truly say these are people who put the customer first if there’s ever a problem they are right on top of it I can’t think of anyone else I would ever go to for a scooter, they have an elite selection of scooters for anyone for any condition for any time five stars that’s where you go to go get Scooters
There are many scooters out there, but not many are based here in the USA. Everything about my purchase meets or exceeds my expectations. I bought a Burn E because I wanted the best scooter available: this is it. It's basically the Corvette of scooters. It is OMG fast! I love how everything can be dialed in. The suspension is amazing. I might even get a second, mid-range scooter for friends and family from Fluidfreeride. The customer service is remarkable. If you're considering buying a scooter, Fluidfreeride can't be beat. I can't thank them enough for a very nice buying experience. They will have more business from me in the future:)
We got our 8 year old daughter the City rider for Christmas and it is everything we could have hoped for. It may be on the bigger side for her right now but she won’t outgrow it. She got comfortable riding it very quickly the app is great that you can limit speed until more comfortable. Am also very happy with the smooth ride without the worry of a flat tire. I am glad I purchased from here may have paid a little more than other brands but I believe in you get what you pay for. We look forward to many years of riding.
I starred with a Glion Dolly (1,000 miles), then a Horizon (1,000 Miles), then Mantis Base (5,000 miles), then Mantis Pro (5,000 miles). The Burn-E makes a Mantis feel like a toy. The acceleration from 25-50 MPH is instant and breathtaking. Automobiles stare in shocked disbelief as I regularly blow past them or refuse to let them pass me. I haven’t had to install the damper despite regularly traveling in the mid to high 50’s (MPH). Vegas has many straight, newly paved roads which are obviously ideal for this scooter. Once you get used to the feel at high speeds and the braking configuration you start to safely harness the power. Riding on curvy county-type roads I’m sure is a different story and would require putting on the damper.
The sine wave power delivery is refreshing after dealing with the herky jerkyness of a Mantis Pro. Not having to worry about the scooter flying out of your hands when you unwittingly start off in turbo is heavenly. In fact, in all max settings you can easily maneuver the Burn-E onto a sidewalk at 3 mph and then get it up to 58 MPH a few seconds later. Also, the range is spectacular.
The scooter is BIG but the stem keeps that minimalist look that I’ve always liked about the Mantis. If a cop takes an interest I can still pretend to be pushing it like it’s not even electric to throw them off the scent.
This would be a scary machine for a beginner. Over 12,000 miles of experience was helpful as I graduated to this type of high performance machine. Also, I take familiar routes where I know every pothole and hazard… I would not take this out at high speeds on unfamiliar roads or terrain.
Fluidfreeride’s shipping and customer service were excellent as always. The power and acceleration of the Burn-E are stunning; many times per day I thank myself for pulling the trigger on this purchase.
I have put off this review long enough. I am now at 319 miles so this is long overdue. I purchased the 13Ah version because I wanted a scooter that could get me to school and back (14 miles round trip) on a single charge without giving me range anxiety, needing a replacement battery too soon (since all batteries loose capacity overtime with each charge cycle), and without the speed falling to a crawl as I approached my destination. This scooter has passed all of these requirements with flying colors.
To get down to business with the real world specs (from my experience):
my weight: I am 5'11" and 190lbs (86.18 Kg). Fully loaded up with my backpack and gear Im probably closer to 210 lbs (95.25 Kg)
Speed: I get 23 mph with a full charge on flat ground with or without my heavy backpack on, and I've hit 29mph downhill. Ascending the steepest hill on my commute, the speed falls to 16 mph which is so much faster than even the fittest cyclists around me. Speed falls down to about 20mph on flat ground when the battery is at half capacity.
range: As advertised so far. I ride this scooter in the highest speed setting with the throttle wide open at all times and can get 26 miles in a single charge which is incredible.
Ride quality: I had no Idea how smooth those little shocks (1 in the front and 2 in the rear) would smooth out the ride. I wanted to avoid solid tires but the suspension more than makes up for the typically harsh feel of a solid rear tire and I actually appreciate the added protection against flats (my city preys on tires of all types). People often say "if you hit one small crack, your teeth are gone," and I confidently tell them that this is not the case. A massive crater of a pothole could (my city is full of them) but that's why you pay attention. The scooter is so nimble that this is easy to avoid as long as you're vigilant.
charging: as advertised 6hrs to full charge
portability: extremely small footprint as advertised and easy to throw in even the tiniest of ubers if need be. The folding handlebars are a gem for this and I can't imagine not having this feature.
My two biggest concerns before purchasing this scooter were the lack of an IPX waterproof rating and the hill climbing capability. Just like all the others, those concerns have also been put to rest. My commute involves a hill that is not only very steep but also very very long. I am pretty fit and active and that hill is tough to even walk up from start to finish. Seasoned cyclists love using it to train on, and I can zoom past all of them on my way to the top. Equally as important, this doesn't put nearly the dent into my charge as I thought it would.
As for the lack of an IPX rating, you'll be fine so long as you don't plan on consistently riding in the rain. it's generally best not to ride any scooter in wet conditions. Even if the battery is protected, this can shorten the life of the scooter if not tended too properly but more important is the impact on safety. That said, getting caught in a little shower has been no big deal for me.
This scooter is fast, fun, easy to transport, and has already saved me so much on gas. I only take my car out now if it rains or the temps drop below freezing (and I have ridden it down to 32 degrees multiple times)
I'll end this post with a few tips. Purchase some eye protection or wear sunglasses. You move surprisingly quick, so bugs or particles getting in your eye can be startling. Buy a handlebar mounted light to increase your visibility in traffic and to better illuminate your path (a red light for your helmet is also a good idea for rear visibility). Avoid riding if the temps go below freezing as this has the potential to cause plating in the battery and reduce its lifespan. Avoid the rain but if you get caught in a light shower, she can take it. Just dry her off with a rag when you get home.
Thank you Fluidfreeride for this amazing product! I've been singing your praises far and wide!
Straight Out/of Box. Love to go fast. So,,I read through manuals. Cause I'm also a Speed Reader. Secured handle bar, unfolded, secured the stem, [front end].And from my Kribb, 4 blocks down and back and was plesantly surprised to plesantly pleased in all of about 20 seconds. And I apolegize. I do know better. I raced H/P Karts for years even after it almost killed me. That being said. You say you can't afford [PPE]? Don't really need it? Don't B/A Fool. It's too uncomfortable to wear.. DON'T BE A FOOL !!,.. These are serious machines. Go fast and wear your Personal Protective Equipment.😁😆😅😆,,.
Please relocate the charging ports. TY
