> 470,000 hours
TIME SAVED PER YEAR

Never get stuck in traffic again. At just 20 minutes commuting time saved per week(!) and rider, our community got back a cumulative 50 years in time to spend on better things. If you personally were able to save just 20 minutes every work-day, you would free up over 80 hours every year.

> $3 MILLION
SAVED ON GAS PER YEAR

By replacing your car for just 15 miles every week our rider community is saving big on gas alone. That does not take into account any other expenses of owning a car. By some estimates, an individual rider can save around $8,000 per year by retiring the car in favor of an electric scooter.

While an electric scooter already helps reduce carbon emissions, we are donating part of our revenue to Trees for the Future who have planted over a million trees on our behalf, more than off-setting our operation's carbon footprint.

Perfect compact scooter with power to spare!

Such a super great deal on this very well built scooter that is perfect for my needs. Needed one that was easy to fold up and store in my car that also had the power to climb hills and stop easily as needed. This was just the perfect find, and I highly recommend this scooter to anyone with the same needs!

Mosquito Scooter

This scooter is amazing! My geandson uses it for college and he can zip around to all his classes with no problem. He can easily go up the hills and go downtown for the weekends. He carries up to his dorm room and charges it while doing his work. It's compact enough to fold and take it to class and have it under his desk. I highly recommend this scooter!

NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL despite the IP x 5!

Purchased in August 2023 and Jan 2024 it needs a better replacement due to “water damage” which will require an additional $300+! I don’t ride my scooter in the rain as the wheels become slippery when wet. If there was water damage then this scooter IP x 5 can’t handle any water at all!

Best lightweight electric scooter.. Fluid Mosquito

Great lightweight electric scooter!! My son loves it! He's using it to go from college to his internship that's 3 miles away. It's so much easier than having a car and dealing with parking in downtown area. Thank you to the team at Fluid Free Ride... Always answered my questions right away.

Use Case: Commuting
The perfect commuter scooter for my needs

I’ve put 100 miles on my Mosquito now and it is definitely the best scooter for my needs. I work in Seattle and commute by train. I have to travel about 4 miles on the scooter every work day. For the past 4 years I’ve used a cheaper Gotrax scooter. When my last one broke I decided to upgrade to something faster but still lightweight that had better spare parts availability and the Mosquito checked all the boxes. It folds down very compact and easily fits under a train seat or in an overhead bin. Between the light weight and well placed handle, it can be easily carried up stairs or through buildings. The extra power makes easy work of the hill I come up in the mornings. The fast top speed means I can more easily make the traffic lights and keep up with cars on the road if needed. The suspension helps to smooth out some of the bigger bumps, but doesn’t really do much to help on rough roads. There are, however some issues to be expected with so much power in such a small light scooter. I would not consider this a beginner scooter. The small hard tires don’t get good traction when wet. Take a corner too fast and you can end up on the pavement. If it’s raining I only go full throttle when I’m pointed straight. One potential downside others have mentioned is a shorter range. Not an issue for my commute, but I’ve let it go for a few days without charging and it looks like I can only get 3 trips in or about 12 miles total. I have it set with a 24mph top speed and go up a hill so I imagine it’s possible to push it closer to 20 with slower speeds on flat roads. What I wanted was the fastest scooter that is also light weight and easy to carry around and this is 100% that scooter.

Great for Commuters

I was looking for a scooter that was lightweight and could fold up compactly (including folding handlebars). The Mosquito fit these requirements, but it is also extremely well designed and fun to ride. I especially appreciated the ability to select a lower max speed setting as 25mph seemed a little too fast for my comfort.

Love this little scooter. It's everything needed in an excellent package

The only single issue we have with the mosquito, which is reported elsewhere, is the handle width. Since they fold down, there's no real reason they need to be so close together. With that said, it is not a major hindrance to handling or riding.

Truly amazing. It has wonderful power. Incredibly light. I can easily take it on the train with me, carry it up the stairs, etc.

Only downside is lack of air-filled tires. Rides can get quite jittery if the road isn't perfectly paved. I wish there was an option to order air-filled tires.
