Awesome scooter and great customer service.

Did a lot of research and ended up with the Horizon. Couldn’t be happier. Great for a guy weighing in at 225lbs. Would not hesitate to buy this scooter. So far every email has been answered within 24hours. Nice work 👍

Quality, Well Built

Have to give credit where it's due. I'm new to the scooter world but this is a excellent place to start. Not a bad way to spend $700. Glad I went with my gut!

Finally, a fantastic scooter that I can call my own.

For about maybe 2 months I've been looking for an electric scooter that looks good, is not that expensive (compared to the WideWheel or the Mantis), and will be able to commute me to my school, and I'm glad to say that FluidFreeRide's Horizon met all those requirements, and more! At first, I originally was going for the Zero 8 scooter, but I didn't want to buy it from an overseas dealer, and the color and big lettering on it didn't strike me as attractive. The Horizon looks good, and I love the minimalist look about it. I purchased the 10 Ah version because it was less expensive ($675 with the Black Friday sale) and so far the range has been enough (About 12-13-ish miles) to get me through my day, going the top speed the whole way. I'm about 180 with a 15-20lbs backpack and 6'4", and the most I get on flats is 23mph, but after the battery gets down to the past 70%, it's more like 21-22. Slight downhills: 23-25, slight uphills: 20-22. I wish the handlebars were just a tad higher up, but it still works great.

The Good:
- Simple design
- Regenerative braking (it works; there's no doubt about it. It just that you'd have to go down a pretty long hill for it to make a difference in the battery level)
- Cruise control works as well
- Constant speed (17-18mph) going up longer hills with maybe a 15% incline.
- The display is very useful, and there are so many settings you can turn on/off.
- For the price, you're getting an amazing scooter.
- Great suspension, creates a smooth ride.

Neutral:
- Lights: More for letting people know you're there, but getting a handlebar light will do the job.
- Kickstand: A bit shorter than optimal, but the weight of the motor and batteries keeps it from falling over.
- Average of 21-22 on flats, which is good for me, but I just wish it actually hit the advertised 25.

The not-so-great:
- The handlebars come just a bit lose after my ride, have to tighten them every now and then
- Just a bit heavy for what I'd call a portable scooter.

Good eScooter but kickstand is dangerous

I am very pleased with my Horizon. Good acceleration, durable, high quality ... but I had to remove the kickstand because it is dangerous going over low curbs or uneven surfaces. The kickstand, when retracted, protrudes from the bottom casing. When the protrusion snags on a curb or uneven pavement, the Horizon eScooter stops abruptly and could throw you off, particularly at slow speeds. After two incidents, I remove it altogether for safety reasons. Luckily, I was not injured.
