The fluidfreeride MANTIS electric scooter is designed for the demanding rider who wants it all: Swift inner city commutes with strong acceleration, excellent trail performance for those fun weekend rides, large batteries to master up to 50 miles between charges, and still allows carrying in one hand.

With 61 (base version) to 65 (PRO version) pounds this scooter is the lightest in its class. It folds down easily and is still portable, despite its strong performance.

The two powerful brushless 60V 1000W motors deliver fun acceleration and climb up to 35% inclines with ease. Ride in single motor mode up to 30 mph while conserving your battery or switch on the second motor for extra acceleration and 40 mph top speed.

The front and rear advanced swing arm spring suspension delivers a smooth ride on any terrain. Ride over grass or on dirt trails, jump a curb in the city, the MANTIS electric scooter can handle pretty much any reasonable ground condition.

Dual semi-hydraulic disc brakes in the base version and full hydraulic brakes in the PRO version provide full control during your ride. The advanced display/throttle combination allows configuration of speed limit, cruise control and regenerative braking strength. The PRO version with Minimotors display also features motor torque adjustments and ABS.

2 front and rear LEDs and the bright lateral LED strip will ensure you will be seen at night. We recommend an attachable headlight for longer rides at night.

8-12h charging time with the included 2A charger. Fast charger coming soon.

Available in two variants:
- Base - 17.5Ah, 40 mile range (ECO mode), standard display
- PRO - 24.5Ah LG, 55 mile range (ECO mode), Minimotors display, full hydraulic brakes

what a blast.

Just preordered the Mantis. Had purchased the Widewheel from Fluid freeride in february and still love it but I felt it was time for an upgrade. When I passed through Miami three weeks ago, I got lucky and Peter was available to let me try the Mantis. I tried their sample with the smaller battery and was immediately sold..
I am used to quite some power from my WW but the Mantis is a completely different ballpark. Acceleration is insane if you want to but at the same time less jerky than the WideWheel. I prefer the thumb throttle of the WW but I guess the finger throttle allows for better control.
I only took it for a 2 mile ride and even tried a little bit of grass. the suspension is great and more forgiving than the WW. the board is wider and allows you to keep your feet in parallel while riding. you can even turn off the second motor while riding to take some power out and save battery.
Loved the scooter and already counting days for mine to arrive.
Thank you Peter for the great service!

Did I get the only bad one.

When I received the box in the mail I was so happy and could not wait to take it to work the next day. Upon taking it out the box I noticed that the rubber on top of the bored was not properly glued on and my charger port was hanging out of the socket but I said nothing a little bit of crazy glue cant fix. Once I put the scooter together i turned it on and noticed it was at 50% and put it to charged. It remained charging for 5 -6 hours until it turned green and I unplugged it.Today I was off on my first ride it was amazing felt the speed insane power loved it. awesome range did about 14 miles could not complain in full turbo in the city and it took about 24 percent battery. Was very happy. when I got to work and plug in the scooter I heard a pop sound and the light on the charger box stood green when I plug into my scooter. now my mantis I'd no longer charging only after one day of usage. I'm very disappointed thought I was in a reliable team's hands

Power and performance awesome. Quality... Ehh decent.

-Pro model 24.5Ah

Really was hoping that for over 2 grand I was not going to get another Chinese scooter. But unfortunately that's what it seems like. Build quality is decent FOR a China product, but you can still tell.

Power is definitely good. Brakes are super unpredictable to me. If you're going fast you have you hit them and then let off - hit them and let off. If you touch them the tiniest bit it wants to throw you forward and any less and they don't do anything at all.

Lights underneath are cool, but if your battery is like 50% or less, they die out big time as soon as you hit the throttle - signs of China scooter.

Battery percentage is not accurate. It can't fluctuate at least 20 percent from when you are on the throttle or not. That really annoys me. If you're any type of distance from where you need to be you better get back around 30-40%.

Speedometer is in kilometers per hour and it's not EVEN CLOSE to accurate even IN kilometers. Says I can get the scooter to 99 kph and that's 61mph which we all know the scooter doesn't do. Not sure if there is a way to change to mph but it would need to be calibrated anyway.

Overall the scooter is fun, but I'm really disappointed with many things about it that I feel I shouldn't be when buying a scooter that expensive. I wouldn't buy another one at that price.

I hurt myself bad on a xaiomi m365 scooter because the neck snapped in half as I was riding it when I was going like 15 mph. Wasn't abusing it at all. That's a Chinese scooter too and I'm hesitant about this one because if the same thing happened to me on this one doing 40mph I would be hurt much worse or dead.

3/5 is a generously rating from me for this scooter.

Preordered 24.5ah

Preordered the 24.5ah version. I think I will be happy for this decision over the widewheel as I’m 90kg rider and will use it for daily transportation. I hope fluid will offer the mini motors fingerprint security senor available for this controller series. Cheers, can’t wait for it to be shipped!
