Basic P Settings:

P1: Mode Select

This is where you select the ride mode you would like to configure, please note that you can change each ride mode independently to whatever characteristic you would like. An example of this would be limiting the speed and acceleration of the motors to have a inclement weather mode or A speed limited mode for inexperienced riders.

P2: Display Brightness

This is where you can adjust the brightness of the display backlight. The scale is from 1-5, 1 being the lowest and 5 being the brightest.

P3: Standby Time

This is where you can adjust the amount of time the scooter will stay on In minutes from 1 minute to 30 minutes if left idle. please note to turn this feature off simply select past 30 and OFF will be displayed.

P4: Unit Selection

Mph= 1
Kmh= 0

P5: Voltage Selection

You can adjust the voltage profile with this setting, this should be left a 72V for the Burn-E's

P6: Motor Magnet Selection

You can adjust the amount of magnets for a given motor to have the correct speed detection and motor commutation, there is no need to adjust this and it should be left at its default value of 30.

P7: Throttle Start Mode

You can adjust if you want the scooter to be able to start directly via the throttle with no delay or if you would like it to start only after being pushed forward first. We highly recommend even for experienced riders that the " Zero Start" function remain off. The Burn-E is an extremely fast and heavy scooter, and accidental bump of the throttle could cause significant damage to surrounding objects and worse injury to others.

Kick Start=1

Zero Start=0

P8: Tire Size

You can adjust the tire size ( in inches) with this setting. The default value is 11 and for most tires commonly available for the Burn-E this value is accurate.

P9: Cruise Control

This allows you to toggle the cruise control function On and Off

Off=0
On=1

Please note to engage the cruise control while riding press and old the button, you can then adjust the speed incrementally with  the + or keys

P10: Yield Information

On=0

Off=1

P11: Maximum Current

This allows you to adjust the maximum current allowed to both motors as a percentage. The minimum is 1 and the maximum is 100.

P12: Maximum Controller Temperature

This allows you to adjust the maximum allowable temperature before the scooter automatically kicks back down to ECO mode. The maximum allowable value is 110F/43C degrees.

P13: ECO Mode Automatic Switchover

This allows you to control the battery percentage remaining where the scooter automatically switches over to ECO mode. The default value is 30 percent but can be set anywhere from 0 percent to 100 percent.

P14: Password Setting

The easiest way to explain this function is through video, please see the attached link:

P1.3: Rear Motor Current

This allows you to adjust the amperage that the rear motor is able to draw while in use, this has a similar function to the acceleration setting but limits the overall power ( both acceleration and top speed ) you can use this function to reduce strain on the battery and controller. The limit is from 1Amp to 50Amps.

P1.4: Front Motor Current

This allows you to adjust the amperage that the front motor is able to draw while in use, this has a similar function to the acceleration setting but limits the overall power ( both acceleration and top speed ) you can use this function to reduce strain on the battery and controller. The limit is from 1Amp to 50Amps.

P1.5: Top Speed Limit

This is allows you to adjust the maximum top speed allowable as a factor of percentage, 1 Percent to 100 Percent.

P1.6: Electronic Brake Strength

This allows you to toggle to the " Turbo" Function On and Off, as well as configure the amount at which it kicks in from 0 (Off) to 5(Maximum). When engaged fully the turbo function allows for an approximate increase of about 12% to overall power output.

To Engage turbo mode the scooter must be moving and you must press and hold the + button until you see " ON" underneath the turbocharger icon. If you would like to turn it off simply press and hold the button again.
