And we might share it. If you purchased a scooter from fluidfreeride, and would like a shot at featuring in our Rider Spotlight, mail us your story and you have a chance to win a $100 voucher if you win.
So what did Jean tell us?
Jean first encountered an e scooter dealer in California that resulted in a 9 month long nightmare. The various issues too numerous to mention here.
In Florida, Jean decided to visit a fluidfeeride store to get some advice.
Once there he found a team willing to listen to him as well as other visiting customers that he could share his experiences with.
Upon talking to them, Jean understood how unlucky he had been in his first encounter with a dealer.
He decided to order a NAMI BURN E-2 and once delivered it felt like paradise compared to his previous one.
Instead of using his car, he can commute to work on the NAMI saving him time, money and miles spent on the car.
Jean's commute is a 28 mile round trip taking him through mostly residential areas. Using the car this would take him between 45-50 minutes one way. On the NAMI BURN E2 it only takes 35 minutes.
He likes the fact that the NAMI is quite big and fast thus making other car drivers respect you more on the road.
Jean's favorite benefit now is that he never has to endure anymore traffic jams. Obviously, the NAMI being such a fast scooter means that safety and respect is a no brainer.
Jean rides with a helmet, full gloves and knee protection.
This is an important part and one we take very seriously. Always ride an e scooter with a helmet. Regardless of how fast it is. We would recommend to always use gloves and if the scooter is a fast one, full face helmet, knee protection, and goggles.
Also knowing how to stand, as you would on a snow or skateboard, one foot in front of the other and never parallel, is crucial for better balance. And learn how to brake properly. Lean slightly backwards and bend your knees when you brake. It’s all about weight distribution.
